Inspired by the success and open-air, tailgating vibes of his 2020 Hot Summer Nights Tour, Bert Kreischer took it up a notch in 2022 with the launch of his Fully Loaded Comedy Festival. This festival was not just about jokes and punchlines; it was a celebration of community, echoing the tailgating spirit and the joy of shared experiences that defined Kreischer's shows during the first year of COVID. Kreischer's fondness for the outdoor setting, the casual pre-show atmosphere, and the camaraderie it fostered among his fans laid the foundation for this unique festival.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic Lollapalooza, Fully Loaded was more than a comedy show; it was a cultural happening. Kreischer, known for his preference for outdoor venues – a rarity in the comedy world – found his sweet spot in these settings. This preference led to memorable performances at places like Red Rocks Amphitheater, signaling a shift in how comedy could be experienced: outdoors, amidst nature, with a sense of freedom and festivity.

I’m old enough to remember the first Lollapaloozas. I thought it was so cool that Perry Farrell put that together and crafted his own festival. We could have done a minor league stadium tour and make it just me, but I thought, no, I want to bring out a bunch of my favorite comics that make me laugh the hardest.

Spanning from June 16-26, the festival made stops at outdoor minor league ballparks, amphitheaters, and racetracks, in addition to two arenas. These venues included Four Winds Field in South Bend, IN; Air Credit Union Ballpark in Dayton, OH; Frontier Field in Rochester, NY; Thunder Valley Amphitheatre in Bristol, TN; Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA; and Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, MS. Each location offered a relaxed and expansive setting, conducive to the festival's goal of combining great comedy with the great outdoors
